The original owners and tenants may have left, but many of the Stoney Creek Village homes still stand to this day. Settled by white Europeans in 1823 - just after Rochester in 1817 - this community thrived with five mills, a church, store, school, post office, and more! On this tour, you will explore this industrious little community, learn how it supported the growth of the Van Hoosen farmstead, and connect with the stories of the people who once called this place home. Meet at the Van Hoosen Farmhouse. Registration required.
