Join us for a Sunday afternoon at the 62nd Annual Rochester Hometown Christmas Parade on Main Street in Downtown Rochester! The 2013 Parade theme is Caribbean Christmas. 

Parade is partnering with Radio Disney AM910, the #1 radio network for kids, tweens, and families.  Radio Disney Detroit is thrilled to host a very special Fa-la-la-lidays event at the Parade, featuring the brand-new Radio Disney Fa-la-la-lidays float. Play holiday-themed games, win prizes and rock out to the latest music with Radio Disney Detroit.

Santa's Workshop- $5,000
Includes the following: 

  • Booth inside Stoney Creek High School where all the marchers, drill teams, bands etc. stage

North Pole Award- $5,000

Schedule of Events: 

8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.  – Pancake Breakfast at the Older Persons’ Commission, 650 Letica Drive, Rochester, MI.  Sponsored by Kiwanis Club of Rochester.  Open to the Public,  Adults $6.00 Children (12 & under) $3.00. For more information call (248) 651-6700. 

11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. – Meet with Santa downtown before the Parade on the east side of 4th Street and Rochester Road /Main St.  Sponsored by: Tim Crawford, Nationwide Insurance Agency, Inc.
 
 12:00 Noon – 2:00 p.m. — Entertainment stages brought to you by Stoney Creek Studios Inc., Jeff LaDuke.  Sponsored by: JHP Pharmaceuticals, Shelton Buick GMC, and Great Oaks Country Club.

 12:15 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.  – Free Shuttle Service!  Pick Up: Chase Bank, 1290 Walton Blvd, Rochester Hills, MI.  Drop Off: Chase Bank, Pine & 4th Street, Rochester, MI.  Sponsored by: American House Senior Living Communities, City of Rochester Hills, Suburban Toyota Scion, Consumers Energy, Dillman & Upton,  Rochester Rotary Club, and The Phone Guy.

 2:00 p.m. –  Parade starts down Main Street from the corner of Tienken Road & Rochester Road.  It is led by the Rochester Police, Oakland County Sheriff’s Department, the Grand Marshals, and local Dignitaries.

 Throughout the Parade – Nine marching bands are sponsored by: Fox Automotive Group, Franklin Title Agency, LLC, Mattina, Kent and Gibbons P.C., Kidz1st Pediatrics, Edward Jones Investments Chad Rinke, Ray Lighting Centers, The Oakland Press, Coventry Cares of Michigan, Twin Lakes Golf & Swim Club, and Meijer. 

 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. — Community Afterglow with Santa Claus at Bordine Nursery, 1835 S. Rochester Road at Hamlin.   Pictures with Santa (bring your camera) and plenty of goodies as well.  Sponsored by Bordine Nursery and Busch’s Fresh Food Market
