The Community Foundation of Greater Rochester is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for citizens of the Greater Rochester area by serving as a community endowment builder, a community grant maker and community leader.

We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to providing K9 officers with essential safety equipment nationwide.

Rochester Rotary was founded in 1954 and now with 100+ members. Rotary International is the oldest and largest service organization. Rotarians are professional people and business leaders united worldwide, who provide humanitarian services, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations and help build goodwill and peace in the world. At Rotary, we have no tolerance for racism. Promoting respect, celebrating diversity, demanding ethical leadership, and working tirelessly to advance peace are central tenets of our work.

We know there are no easy fixes and that challenging conversations and work lie before all of us. Rotary’s strength has long been our ability and commitment to bringing people together. We will tap into that strength now as we stand with those who are working for peace and justice. 

Assistance League of Southeastern Michigan, serving Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties, is a nonprofit, 501 (c)(3) all-volunteer organization whose purpose is to clothe, feed, educate and comfort children and adults through community-based programs. Our store , Resale Connection, 204 S. Main St., Rochester is an upscale resale store .Entirely managed and staffed by our member volunteers, 100% of the store's profits, along with other funding sources contribute to our ability to serve the community. Meadowbrook Center for Learning Differences is a 501c3 that has been in the community for thirty years.  We have helped thousands of children throughout that time and believe we can remove barriers to learning.  All of our teachers are degreed tutors and have experience working with students from Kindergarten to College.  We have worked with students that have various learning challenges such as dyslexia, ADHD, autism, closed head injuries and more. 

I represent the Rochester Area Optimist Club. Optimist Clubs are in the business of "Bringing Out the Best in Children" in our community. We service the areas of Rochester, Rochester Hills and Oakland Township. Optimist Clubs provide volunteers and support to any organization that services children in these and surrounding areas. We are supported by Optimist International which is a worldwide organization. They provide leadership, programs and funding to the numerous Clubs around the world.

I'm Marie Demres, married, with 3 grown sons. I like to bike, hike, read, write and socialize.
I'm a certified life coach and brainspotter, working with people with trauma, depression and anxiety.  Yoga instruction on YouTube and in person is also one of my interests and I have an RYT200 certification.
