Schedule: Full-Time | Tuesday–Saturday | No Evenings | Closed Sunday & Monday

Position Overview
We are seeking a friendly, motivated, and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This is an on-site role where you will assist clients with their jewelry selections, provide knowledgeable product guidance, and help create an outstanding shopping experience. You’ll serve as a brand ambassador for J. Thomas Jewelers, ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to service, quality, and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
· Greet and engage customers, offering personalized service and product recommendations
· Develop strong client relationships and maintain ongoing clientele efforts
· Present and showcase jewelry collections with confidence and enthusiasm
· Process sales transactions accurately using retail software systems
· Maintain store appearance, including displays, cases, and merchandising
· Assist with inspections, cleanings, and general jewelry service needs
· Learn product lines thoroughly to provide expert-level customer guidance
· Support daily store operations and collaborate with team members
· Participate in provided jewelry sales training and certification programs
Qualifications
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Retail sales and customer service experience preferred
· Strong product knowledge skills or willingness to learn
· Passion for building customer relationships and achieving sales goals
· Basic computer skills for point of sale and retail software
· Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday (additional hours during holiday season)
· Previous jewelry experience is a plus, but not required
· High school diploma or equivalent required
