DOWNTOWN ROCHESTER’S TRICK-OR-TREAT!
 
ROCHESTER, Mich. – September 11, 2025 – On Saturday, October 18, Watch the streets of Rochester come to life with ghosts, ghouls, superheroes and more as children trick-or-treat with the Downtown merchants! Followed by a Halloween Fest on the East Parking Platform (415 East Street).
 
Kids are encouraged to dress up and trick-or-treat downtown from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m.  Nearly 50 businesses will participate in Trick-or-Treat and the participating businesses will be marked with window signage. It is encouraged to have Trick-or-Treaters start at the corner of E. 2nd & Main Street or at the corner of W. University & Main Street. Trick-or-Treat traffic will be one way only on each side of Main Street. The east side will run one way north and the west side will run one way south. Trick-or-Treat is presented by Genisys Credit Union.
 
After the Trick-or-Treat, there will be a Halloween Fest from 4:30 – 6:30 pm. The Halloween Fest is located on the East Parking Platform (corner of E. 4th & East Street).  Activities include Halloween themed goodies, local organizations, several photo opportunities, and The Linda Rea Team will be donating pumpkins to the first 100 trick-or-treaters who stop by their pumpkin patch! A special thanks to the “Treat Sponsors”; 423 Main Bar & Grill, Intact Health Centers, Kimi K Salon & Spa, O’Connor’s Public House, and the Rochester Bike Shop to help make this portion of the event possible.
 
Other upcoming downtown Rochester events include the Downtown Rochester Farmers’ Market, every Saturday through October 25; The Magical Mural Tour, now – Sept. 30, Rochester Posed, October 2; and Trick -or-Treat at the Farmers’ Market on October 25.
