Habitat for Humanity of Oakland County Marks 30 Years with Blueprints, Blue Jeans & Pearls, the 13th Annual Fall Gala

Habitat Homeowners, volunteers, partners, and staff come together to honor 30 years of building homes, community and hope in Oakland County.

PONTIAC, MI – In celebration of 30 years of service, Habitat for Humanity of Oakland County will host its 13th Annual Fall Gala, Blueprints, Blue Jeans & Pearls, on Friday, October 24, 2025, at the M1 Concourse Event Center in Pontiac. This milestone event will honor the homeowners, volunteers, donors, and partners who have built the foundation of Habitat’s transformative impact across Oakland County since its founding in 1995.

Beginning at 5:00 p.m., the evening will feature cocktails, dinner catered by Andiamo Italia, an open bar, and an exciting live auction hosted by Auctioneer Gary Cannon. The event will highlight inspiring stories from Habitat homeowners and volunteers whose lives and communities have been forever changed by the organization’s mission.

As part of the 30th anniversary celebration, Habitat Oakland will recognize the extraordinary individuals and partners who embody its vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live. This year’s honorees include the Community Builder of the Year, Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA); ReStore Volunteer of the Year, Andre Drewery; Volunteer of the Year, Jeremy Carpenter; and Homeowner of the Year, Barbara Richards.

As we celebrate 30 years of Habitat for Humanity of Oakland County, we are reminded that our work is not just about building homes—it’s about building belonging, stability, and opportunity,” said Michele Hodges, CEO and Executive Director of Habitat Oakland. “Every wall raised and every key handed over represents the power of partnership, faith, and community. We are deeply grateful to all who have helped us make hope tangible for more than 2,500 families—and we’re just getting started.

The evening’s festivities will also include a VIP Pre-Party Experience, held in a private M1 Garage with an exclusive view of the award-winning racetrack at M1 Concourse.

This year’s event is made possible by the generous support of sponsors who share Habitat Oakland’s commitment to building stronger communities, including Henniges Automotive, VIBE Credit Union, Amazon, Pulte Homes, Nissan Group of the Americas, Sheetz, and Bank of Ann Arbor.

Ticket sales for the 13th Annual Gala, Blueprints, Blue Jeans & Pearls, are now closed. Habitat Oakland extends heartfelt thanks to its supporters and looks forward to celebrating three decades of partnership, progress, and possibility.
