Join us for a holiday twist! The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm is open for drop-in hours on select dates this Holiday season from 12 – 4pm, with a Guided Tour of the Van Hoosen Farmhouse at 1:00pm. We’ll have the 1840 Van Hoosen Farmhouse beautifully decorated with boughs of holly, old Christmas cards, family gifts, community cookbooks, and a 10 foot Christmas tree in the library. You’ll also find our seasonal interactive “All Aboard: Model Railroad Exhibit!” on display in the Calf Barn. Come and share your afternoon with us at our National Registered Historic Site!
Included with your admission is a guided tour* of the Van Hoosen Farmhouse and Red House, access to all exhibits, and a self-guided tour of the Bull Barn, Milk House, Equipment Barn, as well as the nearby Stoney Creek Cemetery. Please arrive early if you plan to take the guided tour, as there is limited capacity.
*No guided tour of the Van Hoosen Farmhouse and Red House on December 6, due to Visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus event
* No guided tour (only self-guided on this day) of the Van Hoosen Farmhouse and Red House on December 20, due to Old-Fashioned Christmas event
